Upper Dublin Alumni Band
The Upper Dublin Marching Cardinals Alumni, under the direction of former band director Richard Karschner, are excited to be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Spectacle in Sound with our first ever alumni band and color guard! This band brings together over 40 former members of Upper Dublin's marching band program to celebrate their lasting connection to the school and the joy of making music. From seasoned professionals to enthusiastic hobbyists, our alumni have returned to perform, reconnect, and inspire. Their passion for music and performing remains strong, and they proudly carry on the traditions that shaped their time here. This year's band features musicians and color guard members from 1974-2022! They will be playing selections from past marching band shows to include; "Euryante", "Zampa", "In the Mood", "I Write the Songs", and our Upper Dublin High School alma mater.
In addition to the alumni band, we welcomed back over 130 alumni from 1964-2022 during a special reception held earlier today. It was a special time for so many to reconnect and take a stroll down memory lane.
